Bruce Dorries was kind enough to arrange a visitor, Anne Condon, to come and speak to us at a recent visit to the Dorries' farm. Anne works for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. While a grad student at William and Mary, she was part of a research team that studied the bird communities in the area and how they have been affected by a mercury contamination by DuPont in Waynesboro. They have a number of bird boxes set up along the river at the Dorries' farm.
