At SMS, we strive to keep our tuition as affordable as possible while ensuring the highest quality Montessori education. Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is posted here for reference. Our tuition typically rises between 3-5% annually in support of staff raises and program growth. The tuition and program fee schedule for the 2026-2027 school year will be announced in January.

Care before and after school is available for an additional fee. Primary Morning Tuition for ages 3 and 4 covers 8:15 to 11:45 AM. Tuition for Extended Day and Elementary Programs covers 8:15 to 2:45 (Ex.Day) or 3PM (Elem). We offer care before and after school, spaces are limited. Early Bird care is available from 7:30 to 8:15 AM and Mockingbird Aftercare is available from 11:45 until 6 PM.
Staunton Montessori School provides a limited amount of partial scholarship funds each year. Our Financial Aid portal will open on February 1, 2026 and close on February 14th, 2026. You must complete your Financial Aid application and submit all the necessary documents online during this time. For families that meet the threshold of need, one can expect a partial scholarship from $500-$1,500. TADS is the Tuition Management Provider for SMS.
