Dr. Montessori was well before her time when she incorporated movement into her educational pedagogy. In addition to the classroom works that encourage movement we want to have more targeted movement activities for our students. We plan to set up a movement shelf in the Primary and Elementary hallway.
We know a movement shelf in the Primary hallway will be a sought after work. When not in use, a closing cabinet will keep it from becoming a distraction.
